Job Opportunity - Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager is a full-time role responsible for the oversight of the accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and managing regulatory requirements. Key duties include handling premium and claims accounts, overseeing financial records, treasury management, coordinating audits, and supporting the COO, CEO, and Board with financial reports and forecasting.

The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s degree preferred), along with ACCA certification. A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in financial reporting and treasury management is required, particularly within financial services or insurance. Knowledge of parametric insurance is an asset.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in financial forecasting, audit coordination, and accounting software. Leadership skills, integrity, and excellent communication are essential.

The successful candidate must also have excellent oral and written communications skills in English. Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset.
