Isaac was the fifth tropical cyclone that reached the hurricane category in the 2018 Atlantic Hurricane Season. It formed as a tropical depression over the eastern tropical Atlantic Ocean on 7 September 2018 at 2100UTC. Thereafter it strengthened, becoming a tropical storm on 8 September at 2100UTC and a hurricane on 10 September at 0300UTC.
